Drivers are encouraged to adjust travel time within and around the race course.
- The TriRock Lake Geneva Triathlon will bring hundreds of athletes to the Lake Geneva area, in addition to thousands of spectators, family and friends.
- To get the most out of your weekend and minimize stress, be aware of the impacted roads in your area and plan ahead for an alternate route or added travel time.
- Join the festivities! Lake Geneva area residents are encouraged to volunteer at the race and/or line the course to cheer athletes.
Interactive Road Impact Map
This map outlines the impacted roads, highlights alternate routes and provides access information for popular destinations which will be affected by road closures during the race. Google Maps does NOT take into account the road closures on race day. Road Impacts and Delays
Participants will share the road with vehicles between about 6:00 am and 11:00 am. At 6:00 am, police and event personnel be monitoring the course and major intersections. Please expect some short delays at major intersections. The Olympic distance triathlon begins at 6:30am, the Sprint distance at 7:00 am.
Vehicles Crossing the Course
Vehicles may be permitted to cross or travel along the route, at the discretion of traffic controllers. Please proceed slowly and carefully as you travel alongside triathlon participants.
Streets along the course will be marked with No Parking signs. Vehicles in violation of these posted signs will be ticketed and towed at the owners’ expense.
